Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (review here)
Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
The Whitechapel Fiend by Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnsen
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany
That’s all the books I read this month! What books did you manage to read during September?
I re-read “Slaughterhouse Five” by Kurt Vonnegut, Read “Everyone Brave is Forgiven” by Chris Cleave, “The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins and am currently reading “The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II” by Denise Kiernan and “The Sympathizer” by Viet Thanh Nguyen (which I really enjoy, but find cumbersome as there are no dialouge breaks and just walls of text)

ooh! I’ve always wanted to read The girl On the Train. How is it? The Sympathizer sounds like a really hard read; I can’t read books with just walls of text. glad you’re enjoying it though!

It was a thriller! I had a hard time liking the main character ad there is an event in the book I had a hard time with. But once you get past the main character and get to the story – it’s a page turner!
