July Book Haul | #1

So I’ve never done a book haul before, mainly because I don’t usually buy a huge pile of books. Most of the time I’m very good at buying one or two books, reading them, and then going to buy more. However, since I’m going on vacation and moving abroad, where the main language isn’t English, I’ve bought a fair amount of books to keep me occupied. So here’s the first book haul:

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

World War Z by Max Brooks

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: After reading We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, I decided I was in the mood for more hard-core mystery, thriller type things. I’m not quite sure what this book is about, but I’m planning on keeping it that way so I can dive into this book blind.

The Paris Wife by Paula McLain: I’m so excited to read this book. The premise sounds so intriguing and I’ve been in this huge historical fiction mood lately, so this read will be perfect.

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare (new edition): I’m planning on rereading the entire series before Season Two of the show comes out in January, so here I am.

Golden Son by Pierce Brown: I finally got this!

11/22/63 by Stephen King: This too, sounded absolutely intriguing and I can’t wait to get to this

The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan: It’s Rick Riordan. How could I not?

Not Pictured: Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare: I’ve been dying to read this for a long time but wanted to read the Tales of a Shadowhunter Academy first. So far, I’ve only read the first novella, but I’ll get to the rest of them soon.
